Personal Identity System
Media Type: Brand Identity
My personal identity system, constructed in 2004.

This was my leave-behind. By using different paper stock and creating diecuts by hand, it combined to form a highly intricate art piece by itself.
A design feat for me, it not only acted as a personal project, but revolved around a number of parameters and hand-crafted tools. I wanted to stress many different points, from emphasizing the fact that I went further than others, showcased my work (to that point), and that I am a graphic designer.
Formed from one letter-sized card stock piece of paper, the envelope was made to house the pulling mechanism. With the pullouts, the design was made to fit two of these on one piece of letter-sized paper. The envelope interacted nicely with the pullout, that also attached a booklet and business card. The booklet is behind the logo on the pullou The little book contained a cover letter, resume, and sample work. And each one of the 20+ systems I made were personalized.
It proved its point, and I landed a few gigs from this.
